  The location is rich in alluvial gold, and excavations are conducted to access the gold deposits.
• Tailing and Tanzanian sluices
  Here we can see the tailing after mineral processing by local puku-puku Tanzanian sluices. The tailing is yet rich with gold content.

  This rock contains gold. Not that everything shiny on this rock is gold. Pyrite is also known as Fool's Gold though it also represents one of main ores for gold recovery. On this rock we could see a lot of pyrite and some gold within the rock.

  This is yet a similar picture of local miners in Geita region in Tanzania. We were processing together the gold concentrate, and I could demonstrate to them that simple panning was enough. There is no need for poisonous mercury.

  We gather for the photo right on the mining site. These miners were yet processing the gold concentrate with mercury. I have demonstrated to them that it can be done by using a simple gold pan. More than 30-40 people gathered during the panning process.
