- Chronicle of activities supporting the goals and purposes of KISSO GOLD LP
This is the chronicle of activities supporting the goals and purposes of KISSO GOLD LP. The equipment and preparation stage was financed by limited partner and research and discovery, including the operating expenses were all finances by General Partner. - Alluvial excavation of ores
The location is rich in alluvial gold, and excavations are conducted to access the gold deposits. - Tailing and Tanzanian sluices
Here we can see the tailing after mineral processing by local puku-puku Tanzanian sluices. The tailing is yet rich with gold content. - Rock containing gold
This rock contains gold. Not that everything shiny on this rock is gold. Pyrite is also known as Fool's Gold though it also represents one of main ores for gold recovery. On this rock we could see a lot of pyrite and some gold within the rock. - Locating water sources nearby the mining lands
Water sources are our number one priority as for mining business, water is necessary for high volume processing. - Pyrite traces indicate probability of gold
The rocks found at the location indicate pyrite traces which in turn indicate probability of gold. Not everything that shines is gold. And this type of pyrite really looks like gold, and does contain gold but not as much as it is shown on the video. - We are in the middle of rich gold deposits
The area that one may see on this video contains rich gold deposits that are used by large company nearby to produce over one tonne of gold per month. - Beautiful nature nearby mining sites
The pleasure of moving through the bush is not easy to describe by watching this noisy video. - Multiple time we use motorcycles for visits in mining sites
We change motorcycles for multiple times. Sometimes the drivers of motorcycles claim to know the location, and then we use them, and often we are mislead into other directions. For that reason, we use navigational applications on our Android phones, to be sure that we are moving to right directions where mining site is located. - Moving to the mining site for the Preliminary Site Assessment and Inspection
We are on motorcycles, moving through the Geita town to the bus station. - Local miners in Geita, Tanzania
This is yet a similar picture of local miners in Geita region in Tanzania. We were processing together the gold concentrate, and I could demonstrate to them that simple panning was enough. There is no need for poisonous mercury. - Gathering after testing of the gold concentrate
We gather for the photo right on the mining site. These miners were yet processing the gold concentrate with mercury. I have demonstrated to them that it can be done by using a simple gold pan. More than 30-40 people gathered during the panning process. - Verification of gold in the gold concentrate
The concentrate has been produced by using puku-puku or Tanzanian wooden sluices. We have been checking the quantity of gold that is available in concentrate. - Recording the way-points of water sources
Recording the geographical locations and way-points is one of fundamental actions required when visiting many locations. We connect the locations to the mining sites in our database and we know exactly where is the water, or other important business or life resource. - Gold mining shaft
The unsecured gold mining shaft is an opportunity for profit, but also a potential danger. We are securing mining shafts in our own operations. - Tanzanian puku-puku sluice for gold washing
The puku-puku is yet a simple local sluice for washing minerals with the purpose to recover gold. It is usable, yet not as efficient as modern method of gold recovery. - The large water source nearby the gold mining site
We are discovering water sources nearby the potential gold mining site. - Discovery of water sources nearby the potential mining site
The water source is the number one resource that we are searching during the Preliminary Site Assessment and Inspection. Local miners are often not aware of the importance of availability of the water. Such water source is not used for drinking or washing, rather for mining purposes. People always have enough water for drinking or washing. - Laurence, staff member at the water source
Staff member of the company Start Your Own Gold Mine is inspecting the water source nearby the potential mining land. - Water source in the pond
This is more a stream and pond together, there is unlimited water to be used for mining purposes.
